Romantic October Wedding: Alisha and Andrew

The perfect day for a fall wedding!

Alisha and Andrew got married on Saturday, October 29th in Rockford at the United Methodist Church. We found a great little spot across the street from the church to photograph Alisha and Andrew complete with fall leaves and a white picket fence. After a ride on the party bus we grabbed some golf carts and headed out onto the course. There were so many beautiful spots at Thousand Oaks.

We pulled up to the top of a hill and got out to do some portraits. Alisha and Andrew exclaimed that it was exactly the day they hoped it would be.

Fall Wedding: Matt and Laurie

On Sunday, October 23rd we had the honor of photographing Matt and Laurie’s wedding. We arrived while all of the finishing touches were being completed and enjoyed watching everyone (including the kids) take part in making everything look perfect. Family Portraits: The Bartlett Family

I don’t know about you but I love fall portraits! The Bartlett’s just moved to Holland to work with Calvary Baptist Church and needed a family portrait. After many reschedules due to the fun fall weather we finally got out to the Holland Fish and Game Club for some fun photographs. It was great to get to know this family a little bit better and we can’t wait to work with them in the Youth Group at Calvary.

Thank you Bartlett’s for all that you are doing at Calvary and for choosing us to photograph your family at this time in your lives.

Family Portraits: Kendra, Mark and Kylee

I didn’t think there was anything better than photographing a couple celebrating their wedding day or welcoming their new baby but it gets even better! We photographed Kendra and Mark’s engagement session, wedding, trash the dress session, maternity photographs and this spring we got to help them welcome Kylee with newborn portraits. This weekend we got to spend the afternoon with this amazing family and had a great time catching up while taking some new family portraits.

After some fun family portraits in the leaves at Van Raalte Farms we headed into the studio to do some photographs of Kylee on her own. I think you’ll agree that she is absolutely adorable!

Kendra and Mark, thank you so much for sharing Kylee with us for a little while. As always it was our pleasure to spend time with you photographing your sweet little girl.

Detroit Wedding Favorites

Being located in Holland is the perfect location for us because we love working in Detroit, Chicago, and Traverse City. The best thing about working in these great cities is that they are all under three hours away and offer a huge variety of locations and looks.

This week we are featuring some of our favorite photographs from our Detroit area weddings. From The Shrine of the Little Flower to Comerica Park to The Colony Club to Belle Isle, to the DAC and the waterfront we have fun all over Detroit and the surrounding areas.

Grand Rapids Wedding: Erin and Don

Erin & Don were married at the amazing Cathedral of Saint Andrew on Saturday, October 8th, 2011. The fall flowers decorating the aisle at the church and the bouquets were perfect accents to this beautiful fall day. After a trip downtown for some fun photographs and a stop at Aquinas College everyone enjoyed a fun reception at Wallinwood, complete with a little bit of cake smashing and our photo booth.

Engagement Session: Lauren and Don
